YOUR INFORMATION.
TREATED WITH CARE.

About this policy

Justice Before Judgment is an independent Australian advocacy campaign. This policy explains how information submitted through this website is handled. The campaign is still being formally established and does not claim registered charity status.

Information we collect

The campaign support form collects your name, email address and Australian postcode. Enquiry forms may also collect a phone number, enquiry category and message. Information-assistant beta registrations may collect your name, email address, country, preferred language, general information area and whether you may consider a future paid version. The website may also record campaign link codes, referral and campaign-source labels, aggregate first-landing pages, share-channel selections and a once-per-browser visitor marker.

How information is used

Information is used to count and understand Australian campaign support, respond to enquiries and administer the campaign. Information submitted through other opt-in forms is used for the purpose stated on those forms. Referral and source information is used to measure which campaign links and sharing channels lead to completed support registrations. It is not used to display a supporter’s identity publicly.

Browser storage and campaign measurement

This website uses limited browser storage to avoid repeatedly counting the same browser visit and to retain a campaign-source label for up to 30 days. Source labels may identify platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Google, but do not store a person’s social-media username or profile. Personal campaign links contain a random code, not a supporter’s name or email address. Opening or sharing such a link may update aggregate visit and share counts in the protected campaign database.

Public display and parliamentary petitions

Names, email addresses, postcodes, countries and enquiry details are not displayed publicly by this website. Support recorded here is not an official parliamentary signature and will not be represented as one. If an official petition opens, eligible supporters must choose to sign through Parliament’s own system.

Storage, access and disclosure

Submitted information is stored in the website’s protected database and accessed only for legitimate campaign administration. It is not sold. It may be disclosed where required by law, to protect safety, or to service providers needed to operate the website under appropriate controls.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained only while reasonably needed for the campaign, legal obligations, dispute resolution and security. You may request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal from campaign updates through the privacy option on the contact form.

Children and sensitive material

This website is intended for adults. Do not submit children’s identities, court documents, evidence, medical information or other sensitive case material through public forms.

Security and changes

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated as the organisation, services or legal requirements develop. The date above identifies the current version.
